In its first collection, Narma explored the Agal as a structural material rather than a symbol.
Traditionally used by Bedouins not only to secure the ghutra but also for practical daily needs, its strength and circular form informed silhouette and construction. The Agal was transformed from utility into a contemporary design language.
Through experimentation with lighter fabrics and fluid forms, the collection recontextualized the Agal within womenswear; expanding its meaning beyond tradition.
Once regarded as a masculine emblem, it was reimagined as an inclusive, contemporary expression of identity, balancing structure, movement, and modernity.
